Uutta teatteria perustetaan Hirvensalon Nuorisoteatteri ry., “Hirvarit”, perustettiin muutaman hirvensalolaisen kulttuuriaktiivin aloitteesta helmikuussa 2014. Käynnistystä ja toimintaa kutsuttiin johtamaan teatteriohjaaja ja Kaarinan Nuorisoteatterin pitkäaikainen johtaja Minna-Stiina Saaristo-Vellinki. Toiminta aloitettiin kevään mittaisella teatteri-ilmaisun peruskurssilla, 15 nuoren voimin ja Saaristo-Vellingin ohjaksissa. Kerran
